We offer a complete range of primary care services and work cross-professionally where nurses, district nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, and psychologists collaborate with the patient at the center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a nursing assistant who is secure in their professional role and has a strong interest in primary care.

As a nursing assistant, you will work with sample collection and other laboratory tasks, such as registering test results and quality assurance of laboratory routines. You will take samples that are tested directly at the health center and handle samples and cultures that are sent away. Your tasks will also include EKG, blood pressure checks, simple dressings, suture removal, and assisting doctors during examinations and minor surgeries. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring everything is hygienic by disinfecting and cleaning tools and equipment and keeping order in the examination rooms. You will also handle some administration and manage orders for materials and laundry. You will also have the opportunity to be involved and proactive in improvement work and business development.

If you have experience from other work that is also performed within primary care, we are open to discussing solutions where your skills can be utilized.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. You have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a nursing assistant in primary care as well as experience in blood sampling and e-lab. You also have good knowledge of the PMO journal system.

If you have not received your proof of a protected professional title, you must attach your grades (not just a diploma) from your nursing assistant training.
